Tapco Inc. offers the Tapco-Splice NS bronze
non-sparking belt splice. This clamp splice
holds belts in a vice-like grip, with teeth at
the top of the clamp to provide extra gripping
power. It ;ts all pulley diameters, is recommended for belts rated up to 800PIW, and is
supplied with a 4 1/2-inch Grade 5 hex head
bolt, accompanied by a Grade 8 hex compression nut, with a self-adhesive template for
creating the bolt holes in the belt.
