The Linde North America Cryoline
Cryowave hygienic tunnel freezer for
individually quick frozen products of-
fers advantages over ;ighted freezers,
including cost savings in eliminating
CO2 snow carryover and improving
cleanability. The freezer uses a patented
rolling wave action that gently tumbles
layered products to maximize yield by
minimizing fines loss and locking in
moisture, according to the company. The
freezer works well for diced and sliced
products, wings, mechanically deboned
products and any small items that tend to
clump or stick to belts.

Sealed Air’s Cryovac Freshness Plus
IBC liners reduce mold growth under
the ;lling gland and can increase the
shelf life when processing food items. Its
scavenging technology is incorporated
into 300-gallon tote and 55-gallon drum
liners to actively protect against nega-
tive oxidation, allowing products to stay
fresher for longer periods of time. Unlike
traditional metalized polyester ;lm used
for oxygen-sensitive products, the ;lm is
not susceptible to ;ex cracking and can
go into the recycling stream.
